I am a board certified adult psychiatrist who treats adults with a variety of psychiatric concerns including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, attention deficit / hyperactivity disorder, and dual diagnosis disorders.  I enjoy treating individuals in a compassionate, evidenced based, and timely manner to improve your quality of life.

I trained in Dallas, Texas and moved to North Carolina upon completion of residency.  Although my family and I have recently moved to Nashville, TN., my love of North Carolina remains strong and unwavering.   My training at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center allowed me to provide care to a diverse group of individuals and prepared me well for all my future endeavors.

I have had the privilege of serving in a variety of capacities.  These include as an attending psychiatrist, collaborating psychiatrist and as a medical director of Behavioral Health at Cherokee Indian Hospital.  I have found great joy and satisfaction in all of these roles and am driven by the prospect of developing a collaborative and supportive environment for my patients.
